Time to change your clocks

It’s time to change your clocks. Thankfully this time around we all get an extra hour in bed, because this Saturday the clocks come back one hour.

“Spring Forward, Fall Back” as my Canadian Grandad used to say. He also used to talk about yellow snow – but that’s a different story all together!

The good news is that our telephone systems will normally change themselves. But sometimes this doesn’t happen. So just in case, here is a reminder of how to do it on our Samsung phones.

How To Set the Time and Date On A Samsung Phone

  1. With the handset on-hook press ‘Transfer’ and dial 200 on your keypad.
  2. Now enter the passcode whish is 1234.
  3. Press 1 to enable programming mode and press the ‘speaker’ key to confirm.
  4. Dial 505 from the handsets keypad.
  5. Enter the date and time.

NB – w=day of the week, ) being Sunday, 1 being Monday and 2 being Tuesday etc.

Alternatively, watch our handy video guide. This video and lots of other useful information about telephone systems can be found by clicking on the ‘Knowledgebase’ option in the menu bar at the top of this page.
